This was a great
success! The only thing missing was Bess herself. She passed away
before she could she see just how much we all loved her.
Bess was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary & the American
Legion Riders. She was the Department Secretary for the American
Legion Auxiliary for the State of South Carolina. She was also a VFW
District 5 Secretary.
Bess was diagnosed with a terminal illness and had no insurance. All
proceeds from this ride went to assist Bess with her medical bills and
ongoing expenses.
With the help of many friends, bikers and numerous people throughout
our community we were able to raise over $10,000 dollars.
She will not be forgotten. We will hold this each year with Bess’s
wishes that all money be used for our area veterans.
